July, 2008 Samantha Who star Christina Applegate's boyfriend, Lee Grivas was found dead from an apparent heroin overdose on July1. Applegate and Grivas, a 26-year-old skateboarder and photographer, had a rocky on-again, off-again relationship due to his continual battle with drugs and alcohol. But the couple had decided to give it one last shot this past April when Grivas made another attempt at getting clean, according to The National Enquirer. Colin Farrell had kept his relationship with Emma Forrest a secret until Tuesday night when the pair were spotted on a movie date in Hollywood. The Minority Report actor, sporting long hair and a lean physique these days, is said to have traded hard-partying nights on the town for quiet evenings at home with the "Cherries in the Snow" novelist. "Colin is a changed man," a source told The Sun. "He has knocked the drinking on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way. Emma has been a steadying influence. They have spent months trying to keep the relationship secret because they are falling madly in love. In the past, Colin has gone for stereotypical movie star girlfriends but Emma has offered him something completely different."
Tatum O'Neal has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with her June cocaine possession arrest in lower Manhattan. Criminal Court Judge Elisa Koenderman (KEN'-dehr-man) has ordered the 44-year-old actress to spend two half-day sessions in a drug treatment program and pay a $95 surcharge. Christie Brinkley's estranged husband said Wednesday he had sex with his teenage lover in his office, then paid her $300,000 while hoping to keep their affair quiet. He also showered her with spending money, including $500 hidden under a rock. Pavarotti had drafted two wills near the end of his yearlong battle with cancer. One divided his assets by Italian law, giving half to his second wife, Nicoletta Mantovani, and half to his four daughters. June, 2008 6/30 Heather Locklear is seeking treatment for anxiety and depression. "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression," publicist Sarah Fuller said Tuesday in a statement. "She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. DeGeneres, who won her fourth consecutive Daytime Emmy for talk show host Friday night, told reporters backstage at the Kodak Theatre that she and de Rossi are planning their "dream wedding." 6/27 The Devil Wears Prada actress Anne Hathaway put on a brave face at her latest film premiere last night after breaking up with long-term boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, the Mail Online can reveal.The 25-year-old movie star ended her four year relationship with Italian-American businessman, 29, over the weekend. The Brokeback Mountain star's decision follows over a year of scandal linked to Follieri. Last week, it was reported his charity Follieri Foundation, which funded vaccination programmes in developing countries, was being investigated by the New York State Attorney General's Office. 6/26 Whoopi Goldberg explained that she was surprised not by the list of guys who earned a notch on Barbara Walter's bedpost but rather by the fact that Walters opened up about her past trysts. "You do not think of her bumpin'." 6/25 Christie Brinkley headed to New York Supreme Court on Thursday morning with the hope that her divorce case should be made public, a source close to the case told Access Hollywood.Brinkley filed for divorce from her fourth husband, Peter Cook, in 2006 as news of his alleged infidelity with his then 18-year-old assistant emerged. Among the things that may be revealed if the case, which begins July 2 is made public, are allegations that Cook trolls Internet porn sites. He also regularly logged on to swingers sites in search of women, the source claimed.Despite Brinkley’s efforts, a law guardian for the couple’s two minor children however, will ask for the case to be kept private. One reason Brinkley reportedly wants the case to be made public is because she is still upset at her ex.“She’s still spitting mad at Cook,” the source said. 6/24 Rob Lowe won a small victory Thursday in the first courtroom showdown against a former nanny. Santa Barbara, Calif., Superior Court Judge Denise de Bellefeuille threw out two of the 12 allegations made by 24-year-old Jessica Gibson. Gibson's sexual harassment claims remain intact, however.
